Description
Flavor Profile: Mellow & golden looks out of the bottle, smells crisp, light & fruity. Dry, like the others in the Woodbox collection. And then BOOYA, Transcendant tongue delight. This cider is the embodiment of Don’t Taste the Same, Taste the DIFFERENCE. Bold, funky and farmy. Tannins and acid playing in harmony. You wanna know if you got a good cider? Let it warm up and taste the flavor profiles develop and change. The ideal temperature range is between 45° F and 65° F (55° F being midpoint), though this isn't an exact science. This IS CIDER.
From the Cidery: We love the country life, the rhythms of nature, and the magic that flows from the flora and fauna: namely, wild-fermented farmhouse ciders with lots of character and moxy.
It’s made from a blend of American crabapples, French and English cider apples as well as a few American heirlooms. The result is a cider that has a mind of its own, is a little bit bristly, yet lovable and mischievous like an old country goat.
Pair it with: Your cellar, right now. We only have 4 cases. THE LAST IN OUR FRAGILE WORLD.
My Brother in Law (Tim!) makes a dish of Spaghetti With Cacio e Pepe that is “10X Yum”. Make that. Use a shallow pan to cook the pasta. If you are counting, I have now transformed your life twice in this review. Drink your cider with food. It is delicious.
