Cider infused with Ginger
Flavor Profile: Coming in with light carbonation and a pale yellow pour into the glass, Luya is abou t a 3 out of 10 on the sweet scale. This is a converter for non-cider drinkers! Vanilla and honeyed tannins reach to the back of your tongue with a ginger snap bite for a great mouthfeel right through to the end.
You wanna know if you got a good cider? Let it warm up and taste the flavor profiles develop and change. The ideal temperature range is between 45° F and 65° F, though this isn't an exact science. This IS CIDER.
From The Cidery: We go the extra mile using fresh ginger root, cut and pressed to produce a sweet and pungent ginger essence. We do not macerate the root (which could add notes of bitterness) or use concentrate. Luya is blended and sweetened further with Clover Honey. The ginger and apple aromas play nicely together. It has a fresh ginger snap that supports the fruit characters of the cider. The ginger is refreshing and lingers on the palate. Pairs exceptionally well with sweet and hot foods.
Pair this with: We did a broccoli and tofu stir fry with a bunch of hot chilis and this here cider stood up and said “Yeah, is that all you got...?” Yet another terrific food masher. Heathery and feathery to rinse away your troubles. Quite a delight. Drink your cider with food. It is delicious.
