A sparkling 100% pear beverage, hand crafted with care. Using fruit harvested in 2017, this perry was bottled for secondary fermentation in June 2019. The perry was then disgorged in February 2020. Delicate and refined, Sparkling Perry is perfect for a celebration.
Composition: Foraged seedling pears from Vashon Island, Hendre Huffcap pears, Butt pears, Gin pears, Bosc pears, Bartlett pears, and Taylor’s Gold pears
Fruit origin: Vashon, WA and Mt. Vernon, WA
Yeast: BM 4x4, AWRI-350, 71B for primary; QA23 for secondary
Pale straw, opalescent, characteristic bubbles of méthode champenoise
Aroma: Yeasty, grass, pear skin, and floral
Taste: Citrus/grapefruit, mild confectionary, and subtle notes of green apple
Mouthfeel: Effervescent, clean, slightly astringent finish
