Reddish-pink in color, with lots of residual sweetness, balanced acidity, and berry notes on the finish. That approach continues today. In addition to the more standard Washington apples, they use apples from local farms, small homesteads, and abandoned orchards. Greenwood Cider presses the fruit and crafts all of their small batch ciders in the Seattle city limits - which is unique compared to the larger brands that buy truckloads of juice and fruit purees to manufacture their ciders. It's an uncompromising blend of modern tastes and traditional cider-making. Their cider releases range from traditional ciders made with cider specific and heirloom apple varieties, to modern style ciders that are lower in complexity and flavored with other fruits and botanicals.
