After the Camp Fire devastated the town of Paradise, the apple trees at Noble Orchards were for the most part amazingly left standing. During the following 2019 harvest, with no way to harvest, process, & store their apples, Jim & Laurie opened it up to the community for U-pick. Lassen cider went up and cleaned off their Winesap trees. Paradise was once a major apple producing region, with dozens of orchards. Nobles is the last orchard to carry on the Paradise apple growing tradition. 2020 will be their 100th year in operation. The true meaning of resilience. 10% of sales will go to Nobles to help them continue to grow apples in Paradise.
The cider was fermented to complete dryness and bottle conditioned.
