Balancing Act features a slightly different blend of fermentation vessels and was aged for 2 more months in barrel. Partial malolactic fermentation (MLF) occurred with this blend, and therefore did not need any back sweetening to balance the acids and left the cider with a unique profile. Despite Jeff's intial despair about MLF initiating, he grew to like the cider and thought it was worth sharing. This cider spent 7 months in barrel, is unfiltered, and bone dry.

The apple blend includes Newtown Pippin, Golden Russet, Liberty, Ashmeads Kernel, Vilberie, and Dabinett.
