It drinks semi-dry but with bitter and lightly astringent tannins that dry it out further as the sip settles in on the palate. Red apple skins, fruit leather, and a hint of baking spice, followed by citrus peel and subtle notes of honeycomb, lightly floral, and hints of dark cherry skins. The finish is dry with a warming quality to it form the alcohol.
