What is a Hopped Cider?
Hopped ciders became popular during the rebirth of American cider as a delicious, light, gluten free alternative to beer. A hopped cider is a cider that has hops added - typically after fermentation is complete. Hopped can add a very wide variety of aromatic and flavor notes to a cider - usually citrusy, piney, tropical, earthy, or floral.
Are Hopped Ciders Gluten Free?
Yes, nearly 100% of all ciders are gluten free. Every cider we carry at Press Then Press is Gluten Free. In rare instances you may find a cider & beer hybrid (sometimes called a Graf) that is not gluten free - we don't carry any of those.
