Presque Isle Farm Cider - Pride (750 mL)
Presque Isle Farm Cider - Pride (750 mL)
Presque Isle Farm Cider's Pride is made with apples from the 2024 harvest. One of our favorite ciders from PIF. This cider drinks slightly off-dry with balanced & bold tannins and acidity (medium-plus). Aromatics of refreshing fresh apples and a touch of pear & peach - like the essence of the fruit cups of our childhood. Crisp, slightly tart, and with great overall balance. Notes of a fresh bite of a crisp apple, green apple skins, apricot, white flower, a touch of tropical green melon, and a medley of citrus zest (lime zest and grapefruit both pop).
About PIF Cider: Presque Isle Farm (pronounced: Preh-sk Aisle) is a fantastic cidermaker from Northern Michigan. Located on the shores of Lake Huron in the Northeast corner of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, PIF is a labor of love owned & operated by Dion & Molly Stepanski - partners in business and in life. The cidery was launched as an extension of their growing organic farm in Alpena, Michigan. PIF's focus is on English style cider - made with apples sourced from small farms across northern Michigan. They use a combination of cider-specific apple varieties, classic American apples, and wild foraged apples. Their cidermaking process focuses on minimal intervention and naturally fermented ciders. PIF's ciders are made in the traditional English and New England style and focus on cider-specific apples that can bring a complexity equal to wine.
