The Cider Farm's Tremlett's cider is made from a blend of Tremlett's Bitter and Priscilla apples. Tremlett's Bitter is an English bittersharp apple variety prized by cidermakers for it's tannins and acidity. Priscilla is an American cultivar that's sweet and offers great floral aromatics.
This limited release has won some prestigious hardware and at The Cider Farm's tasting room, this is quickly recognized by cider connoisseurs as something special.
Tasting Notes: This cider drinks slightly off-dry (not quite semi-dry) with medium tannins and medium-plus acidity. Lovely fresh apple and floral aromatics. The cider drinks tart, fresh, and juicy with balancing tannic bitterness. Notes of pineapple, apricot, and green grape. A nice lingering finish that carries the acidity and some green apple skin notes.
