Keepsake Cidery - Farmhouse Dry Cider (750 mL)
Keepsake Cidery - Farmhouse Dry Cider (750 mL)
Keepsake Cidery's Farmhouse Dry cider is made from a diverse blend of apples grown mostly on Keepsake's own orchard. This vintage includes Northern Spy, Esposus Spitzenberg, Wickson, and Liberty apples - amongst others. Fermented spontaneously, and bottled in the Pet Nat method.
This cider is a crowd pleaser, and would make an excellent compliment to nearly any meal. Dry cider, with medium-to-plus acidity and low tannins. Flavor notes of tart green apple, hint of lime, minerality, and some lees notes. Refreshing!
One of two table/farmhouse ciders from Keepsake, there is also a Semi-Sweet version of this cider available.
Pairs with: Pork, duck, hard cheeses, cured meats, tacos, bratwurst
As with all of Keepsake's ciders, this is made without anything added or anything removed - the only ingredient is the apples.
About Keepsake Cidery: From the Cannon Valley in Minnesota, Keepsake makes some of the finest ciders in the Midwest. Named after the Keepsake apple, which was developed locally by the University of Minnesota's Horticulture program. Head Cidermaker Nate Watters makes a range of dry-to-sweet ciders with fantastic character and flavor profiles - clearly inspired by great English ciders. Made using cider apple varieties grown on their own orchard and procured from other local farms in the area - most of which are organically grown. All of the ciders are fermented naturally with the native yeast living on the fruit, and without any additives (no added sugar, nutrients, sulfites, etc.).
