Why we love Nashi Orchards: Nashi grows 15 varietals of Asian pears, numerous varieties of perry pears, and cider and Spanish sidra apples on their Salmon-Safe certified Vashon orchard and certified organic Hood River orchard. Each year they release a handful of excellent, small-batch cider and perry offerings. They have one of our favorite tasting rooms to visit on Vashon Island, just west of Seattle. Each year they help organize one of our favorite Cider festivals in the Pacific Northwest in collaboration with the Vashon Chamber of Commerce - the Vashon Island Cider Fest.
