Dragon's Head's Bittersweet Cider is made from a blend of more than 20 estate grown traditional bittersweet English and French cider apple varieties, including Dabinett, Brown Snout, Muscadet de Dieppe, Chisel Jersey, Harry Masters Jersey, Reine de Pomme, and Porter's Perfection. Medium bodied with balanced layered tannins and a mildly bitter finish. Slightly effervescent. Notes of baked apple, butterscotch, and lemon zest. Pair with roasted winter squash.
About Dragon's Head Cider: One of Washington State's premier cider makers, Dragon's Head has been making award-winning cider on Vashon Island since 2010. Just a short ferry ride from West Seattle, Vashon Island is home to a vibrant cider community. Dragon's Head makes a wide range of dry, traditional ciders, many of which highlight individual apple varieties.
