Domaine Johanna Cécillon - Cidre Nérios (750 mL)
Domaine Johanna Cécillon - Cidre Nérios (750 mL)
Johanna Cécillon - Cidre Nérios is made from a blend of bittersweet Breton apples. Organically grown on old Celtic orchards in Brittany, France. This rustic farmhouse cider is dry and tannic, and packs some intensity.
Nérios is a copper color, with fine bubbles. It has a slight caramel, licorice, and vanilla flavor on the palate, with a hint of bitterness on the finish. Rustic - it's leathery with notes of barnyard, hores blanket, and bittersweet phenolics that pack a punch. Sure to please folks who love a good, bold cider with some farmhouse funk to it. Decanted or given time to breath the intensity on this cider mellows considerably
