The Cider Farm - Oak Aged (500 mL)

The Cider Farm - Oak Aged (500 mL)
The Cider Farm's Oak Aged is one of the finest barrel aged ciders we've tried in years. Made from a blenf of two heritage cider apples: Golden Russet, and Haralson, a 100 year-old Minnesota grown apple. In addition to the mellow notes of those apples, this cider was blended with a medium toast American oak and an un-toasted French oak.
The cider drinks semi-dry with low tannins, medium to plus acidity. Nice crisp apple flavor with a very well balanced barrel character. Notes of oak, vanilla, slight baking spice and bourbon notes. Lovely stuff.
Made with fruit from the 2017 harvest - a fantastic example of cider that can age beautifully.
Good Food Award Winning Cider, and Silver Medal at the 2023 Great Lakes International Cider & Perry Competition.
